Becoming
The exhibition Becoming presents a body of work marked by movement and time. The images are intimate and charged, bearing traces of occurrences that resist full deciphering. Each image appears as a frame drawn from a concealed continuum—a process that begins before it and extends beyond it. In Inbar’s practice, there is a constant oscillation between deliberate process and intuitive action. Her work is grounded in repeated acts of drawing, dripping, and erasure, which generate images that are never final but perpetually in formation.
This painterly language moves between chance and an internal logic, between loss and only partial control. The resulting works evolve toward an organic abstraction, evoking bodies, figures, landscapes, and natural phenomena on both micro- and macrocosmic scales.
Underlying Inbar’s practice are midrashic texts and philosophical inquiries into time, the creation of the world, and the very act of pictorial becoming. The painterly gesture turns into a form of visual meditation—an informed and emotional inner dialogue that allows space for doubt, wonder, surrender, minimalism, emptiness, and openness to the unforeseen.
Inbar proposes a kind of painting devoid of narrative objects; instead, it offers byproducts of a process—testimonies to flow, to time spent in questioning and contemplation, to the transitional moment between what exists and what is passing. “I work intuitively, aiming to evoke a sensation or a state of mind…”

בהתהוות
התערוכה ״בהתהוות״ מציגה גוף עבודות עם מאפייני תנועה וזמן. הדימויים אינטימיים וטעונים בעקבות של התרחשויות שאינן ניתנות לפענוח מלא. כל דימוי נדמה כפריים מתוך רצף סמוי, מהלך שמתחיל לפניו ונמשך מעבר לו. ביצירתה של ענבר מתקיימת תנועה מתמדת בין תהליך מכוון לפעולה אינטואיטיבית. התהליך נשען על פעולות רישום, טפטוף, מחיקה החוזרות על עצמן ויוצרות דימוי שאינו סופי אלא בהתהוות מתמדת. זוהי שפה ציורית הנעה בין מקריות לחוקיות פנימית, בין אובדן לשליטה חלקית בלבד. התוצרים מתפתחים אל עבר אבסטרקט אורגני ומאזכרים גופים, דמויות, נוף ותופעות טבע מיקרו ומקרו קוסמיות.
ברקע יצירתה עומדים מדרשים ותהיות פילוסופיות על הזמן, על בריאת העולם וההתהוות הציורית עצמה. הפעולה הציורית הופכת למעין מדיטציה חזותית – דיאלוג פנימי מושכל וריגשי, שבו יש מקום לספק, לפליאה, התמסרות, מינימליזם, ריק ופתיחות לבלתי צפוי.
ענבר מציעה ציור שאין בו אובייקטים סיפוריים אלא תוצרי לוואי של תהליך, עדות לזרימה, לזמן תהייה ובהייה, לרגע המעבר בין הקיים לחולף. ״אני פועלת באופן אינטואיטיבי ומנסה להעביר תחושה או הלך רוח...״
